If you have your own access (username and password) to Point of Sale, and the "POS Save Menu (F11) settings" in System options (Back-office) allows it, you will be able to recall and save an Invoice, Pro Forma, Quote, Job Card, Refund, Sales Order or Consignment Note.

The recall function is used to recall (fetch) any previously saved (and active) transactions. The recalled transactions can then be saved as a new transaction.

1. In Advantage Point of Sale, search for a customer.

NOTE: You can only recall a specific customer's transactions, if the transaction was previously saved on that same customer's account.

2. Click on the Recall F10 button.

3. Select the transaction type that you would like to recall (the previously saved transaction type), by clicking on it.

NOTE: If the previously saved document is NOT active or if it has already been converted (by following this "recall document" process) the document will NOT be displayed in the Recall function.

4. Select the transaction you would like to edit/ save on the right-hand side, by clicking on it:

5. The products on the document will be displayed on the left-hand side:

6. Click on the Add button.

NOTE: The amounts in each recalled document are converted to their absolute values when a recalled document is loaded, i.e., all negative amounts are converted to positive amounts. The POS primarily works with positive amounts only. Be very cautious when loading documents that contain a combination of positive and negative amounts. The total amounts of these documents may be incorrect.

NOTE: If a document was saved, and a product's selling price was updated in Back-office, the recalled document will NOT display the updated price.

7. If required, make changes to the document. For example: change the customer, delete products, add products, change the price or quantity of a product, etc.

8. Click on the Save button, and select the document type from the drop-down list.

NOTE: If you would like a print preview of the saved document to be displayed, check out this article: Why is there no print preview for a document I have saved in Point of Sale?
