1. Click on the "start button on the bottom left-hand corner.
2. Start typing and search for "Advantage Online Activation"
3. A blue activation screen will have opened, where it will provide you with your computer's name, the network card address, the disk serial number, and then two buttons, "Activate Advantage" and "Activate Factory".
4. If you want to activate Back Office and Point-of-Sale, then click on "Activate Advantage". If you want to activate Casing Tracking, click on Activate Factory".
5. Once clicked, a pop-up saying "Activation Successful" will appear - which means the license was successfully downloaded.
6. On your computer, navigate to the following directory: C:\Advantage\Activations\
7. The license, which is a .reg file, should have downloaded into this directory if the computer has a valid and registered license, and that needs to be imported in order for the application to work. (The license would look something like the following: "Spiralsoft_Enterprise_Pty_Ltd_ComputerName.reg")
8. Double-click on the .reg file in that folder. A registry editor prompt will come up to click either yes or no, wherein this case you will select "Yes".
9. Click "OK"
10. There you go, you have now successfully activated your computer and if you have purchased a license for your computer, the application should be up and running.
