NOTE: The correct region and language settings must be set up on each individual PC.
- In Windows 10
1. Click the Start button, and then type "Control Panel"
2. Open the Control Panel:
3. Click on "Change date, time, or number formats":
4. On the Formats tab, select the "English (South Africa)" option from the drop-down:
5. Click on the Additional settings... button.
6. On the Numbers tab the settings should be changed to:
Decimal Symbol | . | Full Stop |
Digit Grouping | , | Comma |
List Separator | , | Comma |
7. Click on the Currency tab, and change the following:
Decimal Symbol | . | Full Stop |
Digit Grouping | , | Comma |
8. Click on the Time tab, and change the following:
Short time | HH:mm |
Long Time | HH:mm:ss |
9. Click on the Date tab, and change the following:
Short date | yyyy/MM/dd |
Long date | dd MMMM yyyy |
10. Click on the Apply button.
11. Click on the OK button

2. Click Clock, Language, and Region, and then click Regional and Language Options.
3. The Regional and Language Options dialog box appears.
4. On the Formats tab, select the "English (South Africa)" option from the drop-down:
